In addition to PAYDIRT Sports Law, Stephen is the founder and CEO of Golden Gate BPO Solutions, a global provider of customer service outsourcing and staffing solutions, a company recognized by Inc. Magazine in 2016, 2017 and 2018 as one of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies.

While building Golden Gate BPO, Stephen also served as EVP of Strategic Planning and General Counsel for Interactive Response Technologies (IRT) from 2008-2011, where he played a significant role in IRT’s growth from $15M in revenues to over $120M during that time. He successfully represented the company and its leadership team through a sell-side process that culminated in the company’s acquisition by HSBC Private Equity.

Prior to founding Golden Gate BPO and joining IRT, Stephen represented high net worth individuals, executives and middle management as an attorney and business advisor, primarily with respect to complex employment and executive compensation agreements. He also represented and managed several companies and their ownership groups through business reorganizations and sell-side investment banking transactions.

Mr. Ferber served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Precision Response Corporation (PRC). He joined PRC in 1996 as Associate Counsel, where he rapidly ascended to a key role on the executive leadership team. Stephen was responsible for all aspects of the company’s legal affairs, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and international business development and operations. He also played a key role with respect to PRC’s multiple initial public stock offerings (raising over $350M in 1996 and 1997), other financing initiatives, and PRC’s sale to IAC in 2000, which was valued at $755M. After becoming a subsidiary of IAC, a Russell 1000 company, he took over IAC affiliate business development and operations, which included companies such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Home Shopping Network, Match.com, Ticketmaster and LendingTree. During his 8-year tenure with PRC, the company grew from 400 to over 14,000 employees worldwide. Stephen contributed to the company’s accelerated growth by establishing PRC’s offshore capabilities in several international locations, completing several acquisitions and enhancing the company’s operational and financial performance.

Stephen began his professional career in the Financial Advisory Services group of PwC, working out of the firm’s Miami, Florida office. He joined PwC as an intern during his second year in law school, and then stayed on as a senior associate upon graduation. As a consultant with PwC, Stephen worked on business turnarounds and reorganizations, business valuations, mergers and acquisitions, taxation, and litigation support.

Mr. Ferber earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law in 1993, specializing in corporate and tax. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland in 1990.
